Cairo, Egypt – The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack targeting the UAE Embassy in Damascus. It also stressed the need to protect diplomatic missions and respect international law.

In an official statement, the Ministry affirmed that such attacks constitute a blatant violation of diplomatic norms and pose a threat to security and stability in the region. Furthermore, it emphasized that Egypt is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with UAE authorities to ensure the safety of embassy staff and the diplomatic mission.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry indicated that hostile acts against foreign embassies send dangerous messages that require a firm response from the international community. It also affirmed that protecting diplomatic missions is a universal obligation that must be respected to ensure the continuation of dialogue and cooperation between nations.
