Amman, Jordan – The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan announced that its air force successfully intercepted and destroyed 14 missiles and 21 drones during the third week of military escalation in the region, with one attack failing to intercept.
Summary of operations since the start of the war
The Military Media Directorate clarified that a total of 240 missiles
and drones have been launched towards Jordanian territory since the start of the war.
It confirmed that the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and destroyed 222 of these targets,
while defenses failed to intercept 18 missiles and drones.
Limited injuries and all those injured have been discharged
Official sources in Jordan indicated that the attacks resulted in injuries to 24 people,
all of whom have been discharged from hospitals after receiving the necessary treatment.
They confirmed that the injured are in stable condition, with no critical cases.
Continuous readiness to protect the atmosphere
The Jordanian Armed Forces emphasized their continued full readiness
to address any threats targeting the country’s security.
They affirmed that air defense systems continue to operate with high efficiency in detecting
and intercepting targets, amidst the escalating attacks in the region.
