Cairo – Egypt on Friday strongly condemned terrorist plots targeting the security and stability of the Gulf states. It also affirmed its full solidarity with its sister nations in confronting any threats to their security and sovereignty.
Strong condemnation of the sabotage attempts
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, affirmed its categorical rejection of all terrorist and subversive plots targeting the Gulf states. It noted that security services in both Kuwait and the UAE had successfully thwarted these attempts.
Full solidarity with the Gulf states
Egypt emphasized its solidarity with Kuwait, the UAE, and all Gulf states. It also affirmed its full support for any measures aimed at protecting security and stability, and countering any attempts to undermine the sovereignty of states or threaten the safety of their citizens and residents.
Support for security measures
Egypt expressed its support for all security and legal measures taken by the Gulf states to counter threats. It reiterated its commitment to continuing its efforts in combating terrorism in all its forms and confronting any attempts to destabilize the region.
