Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemned the terrorist plot targeting Kuwait. It expressed its full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to protect its sovereignty. A firm rejection of terrorism and extremism
In an official statement, the Council affirmed its complete rejection of all forms of extremism, terrorism, and criminal plots aimed at destabilizing the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and other Arab states. Furthermore, it stressed the necessity of confronting these threats, which undermine social peace and terrorize innocent civilians.
Praise for the efficiency of the security services
The Council commended the vigilance and efficiency of the relevant authorities in Kuwait and their success in apprehending a terrorist cell linked to Hezbollah. Furthermore, this cell was planning attacks targeting security and stability and was also attempting to recruit members for the organization.

The Council reaffirmed that confronting terrorism is a collective responsibility that requires enhanced cooperation and coordination among nations.
