Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received a phone call from His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
During the meeting, he expressed his condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries, and the violation of the country’s sovereignty, the rules of international law, and the principles of good neighborliness.
For his part, His Highness the President of the Emirates expressed his thanks to His Eminence the Sheikh of Al-Azhar for his position.
During the call, the two sides stressed the need for restraint and an immediate halt to the accelerating military escalation in the region.
In addition to resorting to dialogue and political solutions to address various issues.
