Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received a phone call from His Excellency Alexander Staub, President of the Republic of Finland.
The call addressed the serious repercussions of the military escalation taking place in the region on regional security and stability.
During the call, His Excellency affirmed Finland’s solidarity with the UAE following the blatant Iranian attacks targeting its territory and a number of sister countries in the region.
In addition to supporting it in all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its land and citizens.
For his part, His Highness the President of the UAE thanked the Finnish President for his country’s supportive stance towards the UAE.
The two sides stressed the need to stop the military escalation to avoid expanding the conflict in the region, as this would have serious repercussions on regional security and stability.
