Manama, Bahrain – Bahrain announced that it intercepted 70 missiles and 59 Iranian drones. It confirmed that its air defense systems effectively dealt with the attack, preventing the targets from reaching their vital locations.

Official sources stated that early detection operations relied on advanced systems for countering aerial threats. The missiles and drones were intercepted before entering the range of strategic targets. As a result, significant losses were prevented.

They added that emergency and civil defense teams were on high alert throughout the attack. They also noted that security and military coordination was at the highest level. This collective effort ensured the protection of vital installations and the safety of citizens and residents.

This development comes amidst an unprecedented regional escalation, marked by an exchange of strikes and threats. This heightens tensions in the Gulf region and increases fears of a wider confrontation.

Bahraini authorities confirmed that the situation is now under control. However, they are maintaining a high state of readiness in anticipation of any unforeseen developments. She also stressed that the security of the Kingdom is a red line and that any harm to its stability will not be allowed.
