Cairo, Egypt – A Cairo criminal court issued a ruling on Wednesday extending the inclusion of 13 Muslim Brotherhood members on terrorism lists for five years. The official gazette published the ruling, issued by Judge Wagdy Abdel Moneim, noting that the extension begins upon the expiration of the previous ruling.
Names of the accused and listed entities
The decision included designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. It also included adding 13 defendants, among them Ahmed, son of Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, Ibrahim Mounir, Hani El-Deeb, and Hassan Mansour, to the terrorist organization lists. This was part of Case No. 440 of 2018, State Security Supreme Court. Additionally, the case is registered as No. 1059 of 2021, State Security Emergency Felonies, Fifth Settlement.
