Tehran, Iran – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi affirmed that his country will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and national security “at any cost.” His remarks reflect escalating regional and international tensions. He also emphasized that Tehran is prepared to respond to any threats to its strategic interests.
Araqchi explained that Iran prefers diplomatic solutions and political dialogue to address crises. However, he simultaneously stressed that his country will not stand idly by in the face of any attempts to exert pressure or infringe upon its sovereignty. He also stated that his country’s defense capabilities constitute a fundamental pillar in safeguarding national stability.
He noted that the region is going through a sensitive period that requires restraint and avoiding escalation. He also called on international parties to adopt realistic policies based on mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.
