Ottawa, Canada – Messages of condolence and solidarity poured in from world leaders following the horrific shooting in Canada that left several victims dead,

amid widespread condemnation of gun violence and calls for enhanced security and protection of civilians.

Numerous heads of state and government expressed their shock and deep sorrow over the incident,

affirming their solidarity with the Canadian people during this difficult time.

Official statements emphasized that such acts of violence pose a direct threat to security and social stability,

stressing the need for international cooperation to combat violence and extremism.

The US President and several European leaders offered their condolences to the Canadian government and the families of the victims,

underscoring the importance of strengthening prevention measures and responding decisively to gun violence,

which has become an increasingly global challenge.

International organizations also issued statements of solidarity, calling for intensified joint efforts

to curb the spread of illegal weapons and strengthen community-based prevention programs.

For his part, the Canadian Prime Minister affirmed that his country would continue its investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the incident,

while taking immediate measures to support the injured and the families of the victims.

He emphasized that the unity of Canadian society would remain stronger than any acts of violence targeting the security of its citizens.

This incident comes at a time of escalating global concerns about the rise in gun violence,

reigniting the debate on tightening gun control laws and strengthening mental health and community awareness programs.
