Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Dubai Press Club, organizer of the 2026 Arab Media Summit, has revealed the key features of the upcoming edition,
the largest in the summit’s history, scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 31 to April 2.
The summit is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,
and the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
The summit will see wide participation from leading Arab and international figures, including editors-in-chief,
content creators, media technology experts, and academics, in addition to media professionals from within the UAE and abroad.
10 specialized forums
The summit’s organizing committee announced that the upcoming edition will feature
more than ten specialized forums. These include the Arab Media Forum,
the Government Communication Forum, the Arab Youth Media Forum, the Esports Forum, and the Film Forum.
It will also include the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, along with training sessions
and advanced workshops in partnership with international media organizations such as Reuters and the Financial Times.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, President of the Dubai Press Club, affirmed that the summit represents
a comprehensive strategic platform that transcends traditional conferences.
It reflects the UAE’s vision of developing media as a positive force for raising awareness and creating influence,
and it also reinforces the role of media in sustainable development.
Dubai… and developing media skills
For her part, Mariam Al Mulla emphasized that the summit provides a comprehensive platform for exchanging expertise among media leaders
and decision-makers from the region and the world. It includes specialized training programs aimed at developing future media skills.
Hind Fikri focused on the importance of the Government Communication Forum
and the DXB500 program for training government communication leaders.
This aims to enhance their readiness to keep pace with digital transformations and artificial intelligence.
Jassim Al Shamsi, Director of the Arab Media Award, confirmed that the summit will celebrate
the silver jubilee of the Arab Journalism Award and honor influential content creators.
The Arab Youth Media Forum serves as a platform to empower the new generation and engage them in shaping the future of Arab media,
within a comprehensive framework that aims to invest in young talent and ensure the sustainability of the media sector.
The Arab Media Summit constitutes a leading platform that brings together local, regional,
and international expertise to discuss the future of media and anticipate major transformations in the sector.
