Abuja, Nigeria – At least 30 people were killed in a horrific road accident in northern Nigeria. A passenger bus collided with a truck in what authorities described as one of the deadliest such incidents in recent times.
Local sources reported that the accident also left several people injured. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the scene to manage the aftermath and clear the wreckage.
Initial reports suggest that excessive speed and poor road conditions may have been the primary causes of the accident. Calls are growing for improved road safety measures and infrastructure to prevent such tragedies from recurring.
