London, UK – Kuwaiti businessman Fawaz Mubarak Al-Hasawi, president of Al-Qadsia SC and former owner of Nottingham Forest FC, was brutally stabbed at his home in the Mayfair district of London. The incident has shocked the sporting and media communities. Kuwaiti media outlets reported that two unidentified men, armed with knives, broke into Al-Hasawi’s home while he was in his bedroom. The sources added that Al-Hasawi attempted to resist the attackers, who then fled, leaving behind the weapons.
Reports indicate that Al-Hasawi sustained multiple stab wounds to his hands, in addition to a neck wound and facial abrasions. He was immediately transported to a London hospital for treatment. Informed sources confirmed that his condition is stable and the injuries are described as moderate. However, medical monitoring continues until his full recovery is confirmed. British police have launched an investigation into the incident. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area surrounding the house to identify the perpetrators and uncover the circumstances of the attack. Initial indications suggest a criminal motive. It is worth noting that Al-Hasawi is currently in London to support his son, Mubarak, in his studies at a British university. This was prior to the attack.
