Islamabad, Pakistan – The Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning today, urging its citizens to refrain from non-essential travel to neighboring Iran due to widespread unrest and protests in Iranian cities.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement explaining that this measure was taken to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani citizens under the current circumstances. The statement added, “For the sake of safety and security, citizens are advised to avoid any unnecessary travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is preferable to wait until the situation improves and security conditions stabilize there.”
