Algeria – Algerian radio announced on Tuesday that a Tunisian Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Houari Boumediene International Airport in the capital, Algiers, after a passenger suffered a medical emergency during the flight.

The Tunisian plane was on a scheduled flight that departed this afternoon from Tunis-Carthage International Airport, bound for Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, Morocco. While in flight, a Moroccan passenger suffered a sudden health problem, prompting the crew to make an immediate landing at the nearest airport to ensure her safety.

Upon landing, Algerian civil protection teams stationed at the airport intervened, and the passenger was quickly transferred to Mustapha Pacha University Hospital in Algiers to receive the necessary medical care.
