Hadhramaut, Yemen – Responsible private sources in the Southern Transitional Council in Wadi Hadhramaut denied the validity of the news circulating regarding the control
of the “Homeland Shield” forces over the Al-Khasha’a camp.
That location is west of Seiyun city, the center of the Hadramawt Valley districts,
confirming that this information is baseless.
The sources told “Eram News” in a special statement that what is being circulated
about the Southern Armed Forces losing control of the Al-Khasha’a camp
or its transfer to the Homeland Shield Forces is “incorrect.”
The camp is still under control
She stressed that the camp is still completely under the control of the Southern Armed Forces,
and that the field situation in the area is “stable and good”.
In the same context, the military spokesman for the Southern Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Naqeeb,
He had previously stated that the attack targeting sites in Hadramawt was led
by forces he described as Brotherhood-affiliated, under the command of military leader Hashem al-Ahmar.
It included members of the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda, in addition to northern military leaders.
The captain explained that the southern forces succeeded in repelling
a large-scale attack that took place on several fronts.
It managed to break through and inflict heavy losses on the attacking forces,
forcing them to retreat and flee from the engagement sites.
Pursuing the attacking elements
He added that the southern forces are continuing to pursue the attacking elements at the present time.
He confirmed that all those forces fled the battlefield after the attack failed.
The captain stressed that the Southern Armed Forces “will break any terrorist force targeting the South.”
He emphasized the commitment to preserving the gains achieved, securing the entire southern territory,
and continuing to maintain the momentum on the ground.
In a post on the “X” platform, the captain referred to what he described as “misleading media hype.”
