Delhi, India – A tragic accident occurred today in the Indian state of Maharashtra after two passenger trains collided while traveling on a busy line, resulting in injuries to more than 100 people ranging from minor to moderate, amid panic among passengers.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene of the accident, where rescue operations began and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals to receive the necessary treatment, while some paramedics continued to provide first aid to the injured inside the damaged train carriages.
The incident caused a temporary halt to train traffic on the affected line, leading to significant congestion and delays for hundreds of passengers at nearby stations.
