New Delhi, India – The Indian government has affirmed that its policies for importing oil, gas, and energy products are governed by purely national standards. These policies are formulated to serve energy security and achieve economic stability, free from any external pressures or considerations.

Official sources explained that energy procurement decisions are subject to careful assessments of global prices, supply sustainability, and domestic market needs. This ensures the availability of fuel for industry, transportation, and other vital sectors.

The authorities emphasized that energy security is a strategic priority for the country, noting that diversifying import sources is a cornerstone of the government’s policy to counter the volatility of international markets.

These statements come amid growing international discussions about energy policies and trade alliances. India has affirmed that it will not deviate from its sovereign decisions, which prioritize the interests of its people and economy above all other considerations.
