Aden, Yemen – In confirmation of the unity of the southern ranks in the face of current challenges, Commander Aidarus Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council,
received today Sheikh Faris bin Nasser Al-Khabili, head of the Shabwa Tribes Alliance,
at the Al-Maashiq Presidential Palace in the temporary capital, Aden.
During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi praised the prominent role played
by the Shabwa Tribes Alliance in mending the rift and resolving tribal conflicts.
He praised the security and stability that the province is witnessing
in light of the challenges facing the south.
He also affirmed his support for the tribe’s role
as “the first line of defense for the South.”
He stressed that the positions of the Shabwa tribes “will be recorded in history”
for the support they provided to the unity of the southern ranks.
For his part, Sheikh Fares Al-Khabili expressed his appreciation for what he described
as the “victories of the Southern Transitional Council”.
He praised Al-Zubaidi’s role in strengthening the unity of the southern ranks
and preserving the unity of the southern lands.
Achieving social harmony
In a related context, Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, head of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council,
met yesterday in the city of Seiyun with a delegation from the Al Ba’ans Al-Awabitha tribe.
This was in the presence of Sheikh Talib Bajri, head of the Wadi bloc in the National Assembly,
and Sheikh Mubarak bin Aboudan Al-Jabri, Director General of Sah Directorate and member of the National Assembly.
During the meeting, Al-Kathiri provided a comprehensive briefing on the course of events
and current developments in Hadramawt Governorate.
He emphasized the Transitional Council’s commitment to normalizing public life,
enhancing security and stability, and achieving social harmony in Wadi Hadramawt and the desert.
He praised the cooperation of the people of the valley in eliminating some phenomena that are alien to the governorate.
Al-Kathiri praised the security model in the Hadramawt coast, considering the commitment of
the people of Wadi Hadramawt to preventing the carrying of weapons.
It is a positive indicator that contributes to consolidating security and stability.
Popular mandate letter
He also confirmed that efforts are being made in coordination with the local authority to monitor prices
and implement service reforms, especially after the banning of levies that were burdening traders and citizens.
The head of the National Assembly pointed out that there was a million-person march
in Seiyun yesterday and a million-person march in Mukalla today.
They represent a clear message of popular mandate for the Southern Armed Forces.
In fulfillment of the demands of the people of Hadhramaut to declare a federal state of South Arabia.
For their part, the delegation from the Al Ba’ans Al Awabitha tribe expressed
their happiness with the visit, considering it to be coming at “moments of victory”,
They offered their congratulations to the political and military leadership
of the Southern Transitional Council on what they described as the achievement of liberating Wadi Hadramawt.
The delegation reiterated its demand to President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi
to expedite the declaration of the Federal State of South Arabia.
This is because it is a popular demand of the people of Hadhramaut and the South in general.
