Details of the operation and the arrest of “Al-Jamahiri”

The Internal Security Directorate in the Jableh region confirmed the arrest of Basel Issa Ali Jamahri. He is considered one of the active members of the cell that used the village of Dweir Baabda as its base of operations.

According to a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Interior, the arrested individual confessed to hiding large quantities of weapons and ammunition in specific locations.

Specialized teams went to the identified locations and seized machine guns and various types of ammunition. These weapons were being used to target army and internal security positions. The weapons were confiscated according to regulations, and the detainee was referred to the competent judicial authorities.

Opening the door for enrollment

In a related development, the Ministry of Interior announced today the opening of recruitment and employment opportunities for young Syrians in its various units. This step aims to strengthen national responsibility and revitalize the security establishment with young personnel aspiring to build the future of the nation.
