Washington, United States – The Washington Post, in a joint report with PBS’s Frontline program, revealed new details about the Israeli operation to target those involved in the Iranian nuclear program during the 12-day war. It indicated that Israel initially prepared a list of about 100 people before it was later reduced.
According to the report, Israeli intelligence analysts, in an operation codenamed “Narnia,” compiled detailed files on every individual suspected of involvement in the nuclear program. These files included their occupations, travel records, and places of residence. This was based on decades of intelligence work.
The report was based on interviews with current and former Iranian and Israeli officials, as well as Arab and American officials. Israeli security officials confirmed that the operations were carried out with great care to minimize civilian casualties.
The report also indicated that Mossad had activated more than 100 Iranian agents inside Iran. Some of them were equipped with specialized three-pronged weapons, which were used to carry out precision strikes targeting sensitive military sites and facilities.
