Moscow, Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin has ratified a law approving the intergovernmental agreement signed between Russia and India,
which sets out procedures for sending military formations, warships, and aircraft to the territories of the two countries.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on February 18, 2025.
It aims to strengthen and develop military cooperation between the two countries
by establishing organized and simplified procedures for several joint activities.
This includes sending military formations between the two countries.
Visits by Russian and Indian warships to ports in both countries,
The use of airspace and airport infrastructure by military aircraft on both sides.
Russia and India: Logistical support and joint missions
The agreement not only facilitates movement, but also includes organizing
logistical support for the military forces of both countries.
This is while it is carrying out multiple tasks, including joint military exercises.
Providing humanitarian assistance and responding to natural and technological disasters,
