Tehran, Iran – Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced on Wednesday that three of its members were killed and three others seriously wounded in an attack by gunmen on a vehicle belonging to the Quds Force in the Lar area of Zahedan.
Local sources reported that the attack occurred around 1:30 PM. This happened as several vehicles belonging to the Revolutionary Guard were heading towards a base in Lar. The attack targeted the vehicle carrying the Revolutionary Guard’s operations commander for the region. The commander and two of his companions were killed. The condition of the wounded was described as critical, while the identity of the attackers and the final number of casualties remain unconfirmed.
