Jerusalem, Palestine – Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, warned of the danger of the increasing escalation of violence carried out by settlers in the West Bank.
He stressed that these practices could push the region towards a state of instability.
Abu Rudeineh explained that the ongoing attacks by settlers pose
a direct threat to the population and to regional security.
He called on the international community to intervene
urgently to curb the occupation’s policies.
And to stop the settlers’ violations,
which are getting worse day by day.
He added that continuing this approach would undermine
any chance of achieving de-escalation.
Moreover, it will open the door to wider tensions
that threaten the security of the entire region.
