A specialized scientific team has achieved a historic milestone by fully documenting the anatomy of the Arabian camel for the first time. This represents a significant new scientific reference for the study of this animal, which has played a central role in the lives of Arab peoples.

The study encompassed all internal and external parts of the camel. Each organ and its function were photographed in detail, enabling researchers, students, and technicians in the fields of veterinary medicine and agriculture to accurately understand the camel’s anatomical structure.

The project organizers explained that this documentation serves as a global reference that contributes to the development of scientific research and the improvement of camel welfare. It also helps support industries based on camel products such as dairy, meat, and wool.

This achievement is a significant step in preserving the heritage knowledge associated with Arabian camels. It provides a visual and scientific database that can be utilized in future studies, both in scientific research and academic education.

The team emphasized that this initiative will pave the way for advanced studies on camel health and diseases. This will enhance the ability to develop stronger and more resilient breeds, and preserve the Arab environmental and agricultural heritage associated with this animal.
