Tehran, Iran – Iran’s former Crown Prince, Reza Pahlavi, affirmed his support for the citizens who raised the “Lion and Sun” flag while wearing military uniforms. He praised their courage and commended their efforts in confronting the regime.
Pahlavi stated, “The brave citizens across Iran continue to dismantle the wall of fear erected by the regime every day. They are also raising the banner of freedom and patriotism.” He added that the raising of the flag by military personnel who have joined the people is “a clear image of the growing courage of the Iranian people.”
He explained that “real change is born from countless small, but impactful actions. It comes from a people who replace fear with hope, ignorance with awareness, division with solidarity, and darkness with light.”
Pahlavi also paid tribute to the victims of the November 2019 protests, describing them as “sons of the Iranian national revolution” who stood up against darkness and paved the way for freedom.
