Ankara, Türkiye – At a highly sensitive time, just before the visit of Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa to the White House, Abdullah Ocalan,
the imprisoned leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey,
Two crucial messages to the Turkish presidency, via his nephew
and Democrat Party deputy, Omar Ocalan.
The two letters, addressed to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,
his partner Devlet Bahçeli, and the Turkish state, summarize
New implicit conditions set by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)
for any future “solution” with Ankara.
It links this to the recognition of the Kurdish administration’s independence in Syria.
Refusal to deal with Sharia law and a demand for “QASD “
Ocalan’s messages focused on two main points related to the Syrian crisis,
which is going through a “critical phase”: non-interference in internal affairs.
Ocalan called on Türkiye to “resolve the Syrian issue with Syria”.
He stressed the need to “not interfere too much in
its internal affairs” as it is an independent state.
Negotiating with QASD leaders
Ocalan demanded that Ankara shift its negotiating focus from
the new leadership in Damascus to the Kurdish leaders.
He said: “Instead of Ahmed al-Sharaa, talks could be held
with Mazloum Kobani or Ilham Ahmed.”
This demand indicates that the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s condition for peace with Türkiye
It is the recognition of the independence of
the Syrian Democratic Forces (QASD) in Syria.
This coincided with Washington’s moves to arrange the “new order”.
Ocalan’s messages come at the same time as intensive preparations
are underway in Washington to receive Ahmed al-Sharaa at the White House on November 10.
This visit aims to achieve key American objectives:
Israeli-Syrian normalization
Pressure is being exerted on the Sharia to normalize relations
with Israel by the end of the year.
As a crucial element in building the US-sponsored “New Middle East Order”.

These developments also coincided with the United States announcing
the establishment of a new base at the Mezzeh airbase in Damascus.
This is with the aim of monitoring non-aggression between Israel and Syria,
and maintaining pressure on Damascus.
