Cairo, Egypt – Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector at the League of Arab States, emphasized the importance of developing Arab-Chinese cooperation in the fields of media and digital innovation. He also praised China’s supportive stance on the Palestinian cause.
This came during his speech at the opening of the seventh session of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum in the field of radio and television in Chongqing. He emphasized the role of media in spreading a culture of peace and promoting intercultural dialogue.
He noted the university’s commitment to implementing the memorandum of understanding signed with the China National Radio and Television Corporation, with the aim of expanding training opportunities, joint productions, and media exchanges. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chinese side for their excellent organization and hospitality.
