Mohamed Salah leads Liverpool to victory over Aston Villa in the English Premier League (video)

Cairo, Egypt – Egyptian Mohamed Salah led his team Liverpool to a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the match that took place on Saturday evening, as part of the English Premier League competition.

Liverpool met Aston Villa at Anfield Stadium in the tenth round of the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s first goal in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. The goal came after a mistake by the Aston Villa goalkeeper, whose back pass to his teammate fell to Salah, who fired the ball into the net.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch added Liverpool’s second goal in the 58th minute, after a rocket shot from the edge of the penalty area found the back of the net.

Aston Villa then tried to reduce the deficit, but to no avail, and the match ended with Liverpool winning 2-0.

The win lifted Liverpool to third place in the Premier League standings with 18 points, while Aston Villa came in 11th place with 15 points.
