South Korea – South Korea and Indonesia discussed ways to develop and strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries. The focus was particularly on defense and military industries, given the growing security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.
During the talks, both sides emphasized the importance of their existing partnership. They stressed the need to elevate it to a more comprehensive level, including the exchange of expertise, technology transfer, and support for joint manufacturing projects in the defense and technology sectors.
Seoul and Jakarta are seeking to build a balanced cooperation model based on mutual interests. The goal is to enhance regional stability and support sustainable development efforts. This comes at a time when many Asian countries are diversifying their strategic partnerships and strengthening their defense capabilities to counter rapidly changing geopolitical landscapes.
