Moscow, Russia – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that it had destroyed four Ukrainian drones that were attempting to target Moscow. It confirmed that air defenses successfully countered the threat and shot down the drones before they reached their targets.
The ministry stated that the attack resulted in no casualties or material damage. It added that Russian forces are continuing to reinforce air defense systems around the capital and major cities to counter any further infiltration attempts.
These developments come amid escalating drone attacks between Moscow and Kyiv. This is occurring at a time of heightened tensions on the ground and mutual accusations regarding the targeting of civilian and military facilities.
