Gaza, Palestine – Israeli forces today bombed scattered targets in the northern, central and southern Gaza Strip, in a new escalation of military operations in the area.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip today. This was in addition to heavy shelling from Israeli warships in the sea off the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in significant property damage.
Early this morning, Israeli forces entered the Abu al-Ajeen area east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The Israeli army demolished a house and opened heavy fire. They also placed yellow concrete blocks in the area, indicating a continued military incursion into parts of the Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat announced the receipt of the body of a martyr recovered from Al-Zahra city. Additionally, several other citizens were injured by direct fire from Israeli occupation forces targeting civilians east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In northern Gaza, the Israeli army demolished several homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. This occurred within the area known as the “yellow line,” which delineates buffer zones.
