Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet internal security service received the bodies of two Israelis, which were handed over by the Red Cross inside the Gaza Strip as part of understandings to transfer missing persons and pedestrians during the conflict.
The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that
the two bodies would be transferred to Israel.
This is so that they can be transferred to the National Center
for Forensic Medicine of the Ministry of Health for official identification.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony for a class of soldiers in southern Israel,
Netanyahu said that “Hamas will be disarmed, and the Gaza Strip will be disarmed.”
He added: “If the international forces do that, fine. If they don’t, we will.”
According to him, Tel Aviv still has “a lot of work to do” in Gaza.
