Cairo, Egypt – The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo announced today that, after coordination with the relevant authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt,

The Rafah land crossing will be open starting next Monday, October 20.

This is to facilitate the travel of Palestinian citizens residing in Egypt who wish to return to the Gaza Strip.

This is in accordance with the applicable coordination mechanism.

The embassy called on all citizens wishing to travel to register their basic data,

Which includes full name, date of birth, passport number (if applicable),

Also, the ID number and mobile phone number, and send it via WhatsApp to the following number: 01223301974.

The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo indicated that it will communicate with registered citizens to inform them of the gathering times and locations.

This is in preparation for the movement from Cairo towards the Rafah land crossing.

The embassy stressed the need to adhere to the issued procedures and instructions to ensure the travel process is as smooth and easy as possible.
