Moscow, Russia – The Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that its forces had shot down 51 Ukrainian drones.

In addition to destroying a fortified military bunker housing Ukrainian soldiers.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that Russian air defenses shot down 51 Ukrainian drones in Russian airspace over the course of last night.

“Last night, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 51 Ukrainian drones,” the ministry said in a statement.

Regarding military operations, the ministry said on Thursday that units from the 6th Division of the Russian Southern Group destroyed a fortified military bunker housing Ukrainian forces.

This was while carrying out combat missions in the Kramatorsk-Drozhkovsk direction.

The Russian Defense Ministry explained in a statement: “While reconnaissance of enemy positions, drone operators spotted a Ukrainian robotic system delivering food supplies to forward units. After identifying the target, the drone carried out a precision strike, destroying the system.”

The statement indicated that the drone operators detected a hideout containing enemy elements in the forest, and the target’s coordinates were transmitted to the crew of a D-30 howitzer artillery unit.
