California, United States – CBS reported that a helicopter crashed on Saturday evening on the crowded Huntington Beach in California.
Which resulted in five people being injured.
Local police confirmed that two people on board the helicopter got out safely, and three passers-by were injured on the ground.
They were all taken to hospital without revealing their health condition.
The accident occurred around 2 p.m. local time.
The helicopter began to gradually descend towards a row of trees, then suddenly rose and lost control because the rear propeller stopped working.
Which caused it to rotate sideways and fall onto the sand.
Palm trees mitigated the impact, but one tree broke and fell on top of the helicopter.
The California Highway Patrol reported the accident near the annual Cars ‘N Copters on the Coast event.
