MOSCOW, Russia – Russian forces have taken control of a new town in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the Russian Defense Ministry said Monday.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Russian army had taken control of the town of Kalinovskoye in Dnipropetrovsk.
“Units of the Eastern Forces Group advanced deep into the enemy’s defenses and liberated the town of Kalinovskoye in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast,” the Russian defense statement said.
A Russian defense statement added: “Units of the Russian Western Group forces improved the situation along the front lines, targeting the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian forces, in several areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kharkov Province”.
The statement revealed the Ukrainian army’s losses on those fronts.
He pointed out that it amounted to about 240 soldiers, in addition to several combat vehicles and a number of field guns.
The statement added: “Russian operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery targeted transportation infrastructure centers and facilities used for the benefit of Ukrainian forces, long-range drone launch storage sites, as well as temporary sites of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 147 regions”.
