Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli media announced details of a secret operation carried out by the Mossad inside Iran.
The operation targeted the Iranian regime’s missile system, as part of an operation called “Rising Lion”.
This revelation is considered the first of its kind about the operations that Mossad usually carries out.
According to the information, Mossad formed what looked like a “mini-army” consisting of 100 highly trained local agents inside Iranian territory.
These agents were able to smuggle and install heavy missile systems. These were directed directly against Iranian air defense batteries and were able to destroy a number of them.

The process has been described as extremely complex. It was complex both in terms of the volume of customer activation and in terms of the technological level. Such a large number had never previously been run in a single process.
It gave local (non-Israeli) agents control over highly advanced and complex systems.
Despite the magnitude of the operation, no instructions were issued to target Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian also accidentally survived an Israeli strike during a meeting with prominent leaders of the regime.
Where he managed to escape without injury.
The Associated Press reported in a report based on interviews with current and former Israeli intelligence and military officials. It highlighted that preparations for Operation Rising Lion took years.
The former head of the research department at the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad said that this attack is “the culmination of years of work carried out by Mossad to target the Iranian nuclear program”.
Last June, Israel launched a surprise attack with warplanes and drones targeting military sites and nuclear facilities inside Iran.
The attack killed many nuclear generals and scientists, and paralyzed many of Iran’s air and missile defense systems.
