Tehran, Iran – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei revealed that Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will make a phone call with his counterparts from France, Britain and Germany on Wednesday.
This comes as Iranian criticism continues of the European Troika (France, Germany, and Britain) activating the trigger mechanism (Snapback).
Decision without justification
It also came after Araqchi reiterated, on Tuesday evening, in a call with his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrow, that European countries activating the trigger mechanism lacks any political and legal justification.
At the same time, he made it clear that his country is ready for any just solution that guarantees interests with Europe.
For his part, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, considered that European countries have begun to take tougher positions since his country concluded an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency last week in Cairo.
It is noteworthy that on August 28, the European Troika launched a 30-day process to re-impose sanctions on Iran under the “Snapback Mechanism”.
This is if the Iranian side does not resume full cooperation with the IAEA, including inspections of all nuclear facilities.
In addition to renegotiating with the United States.
