Raqqa, Syria – The Syrian Democratic Forces announced on Monday evening that they had arrested an ISIS member in the city of Raqqa.
The Syrian Democratic Forces described this ISIS member as “dangerous”.
The SDF said in a statement that it “carried out a tight security operation last Saturday aimed at arresting a dangerous member of ISIS cells in the city of Raqqa.”
She explained that “the operation came after careful monitoring and follow-up for several months of the movements and activities of the so-called Hassan Jafli, nicknamed Abu Abdo, and our forces were able to determine his hiding place, impose a tight security cordon on him, and then arrest him.”
The SDF explained that Jafli works in the manufacture of TNT explosives and distributes them to the cell’s members.
It also uses its own warehouse to manufacture these explosives.
All of this is part of a malicious and criminal plan to target military points and internal security forces centers.
As well as targeting civilian cars and gatherings with the aim of spreading terror and destabilizing security and stability in the region.
She pointed out that during the raid, 180 TNT molds, control devices, detonators, and electronic circuits were seized.
In addition to a number of mobile devices and sums of money.
