Arkhangelsk, Russia – The Russian Space Forces successfully launched a Soyuz-2.1B rocket from the Plesetsk Space Base in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the missile carried a satellite for the Russian Ministry of Defense. It also carried the educational and research satellite “Mozhaits-6”.
The statement explained that the “Mozhaits-6” was designed by a student of the Military Space Academy A. F. Mozhaits.
It is used to test space navigation algorithms.
