Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs in the UAE, summoned the Israeli Deputy Ambassador to the country, David Ahad Horsandi.

The Minister informed the Israeli Deputy Ambassador of “the UAE’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant Israeli attack that targeted the State of Qatar“.

In addition to denouncing the aggressive statements issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

She stressed that “this reckless attack constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar.

This is a serious attack on international law and the United Nations Charter. It is also an irresponsible escalation that threatens regional and international security and stability.

She stressed that the security and stability of the sisterly State of Qatar is an integral part of the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Any attack on a Gulf state represents an attack on the common Gulf security system.

She stressed that the continuation of the aggressive and provocative approach undermines the chances of achieving stability. It pushes the region towards extremely dangerous paths and perpetuates a reality that cannot be tolerated or accepted.
