Marjayoun, Lebanon – Israel threw leaflets over the village of Rab Thalathin, warning against dealing with Hezbollah.
This came after sites were targeted in two towns in southern Lebanon.
In the leaflets delivered on Tuesday, she warned against approaching Hezbollah and cooperating with it or those close to it “under the pretext of reconstruction”.
“There is no economic benefit from cooperating with the party,” she said.
She also considered that Hezbollah was the one “preventing reconstruction”.
This came after Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee announced earlier today that the army raided, yesterday, Monday, “two engineering vehicles that were concerned with rebuilding Hezbollah infrastructure. These vehicles were in the Yaron and Rab al-Thalathin areas.”
He also posted a video of the raid. He noted that “the activities of the engineering vehicles constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” as he put it.
Last Sunday, the Israeli army also announced that it had bombed the Lebanese towns of Qalaat al-Shaqif and Aita al-Shaab.
He claimed in a statement that he “strike Hezbollah’s military infrastructure, which includes underground facilities. He monitored military activity in Al-Shaqif Castle,” located in the Nabatieh region. This area was his base during his occupation of southern Lebanon between the years (1978-2000).
He also indicated that he targeted a building used by Hezbollah in Aita al-Shaab.
He added that the building was the residence of a Hezbollah member. This individual was killed by the Israeli army a week ago.
He was “working to restore the party’s infrastructure in the region.”
It is noteworthy that since the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah on November 27 (2024), Israel has continued its raids on sites and towns in southern Lebanon. They say that it is targeting party sites.
It also refused to withdraw from five strategic sites it occupied during recent confrontations with Hezbollah, on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
