Liwa, UAE – Ford Middle East and North Africa unveiled the 2026 Ford Everest with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. This engine, specifically designed for Middle Eastern markets, was revealed during its participation in the Liwa International Festival. Furthermore, the festival also marked the regional debut of the Everest Tremor, designed to enhance off-road driving capabilities.
In a press release received by Voice of Emirates, Ford Middle East and North Africa explained that the new V6 engine delivers 355 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Consequently, this results in powerful and smooth performance. It enhances the vehicle’s readiness to handle challenging driving conditions and diverse terrain in the region.
According to the statement, Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East and North Africa, said that the launch of this version of the Everest is part of Ford’s commitment to providing practical solutions. He emphasized that these solutions meet customer needs. Moreover, he added that the region-exclusive engine and the new Tremor trim reflect the company’s focus. They show Ford’s dedication to delivering performance and driving confidence in various environments.
New categories to expand customer options
The statement indicated that the 2026 Everest lineup has been redesigned to include Active, Sport, and Platinum trims, in addition to the all-new Tremor. This redesign aims to provide a wider range of options regarding equipment and performance levels.
Everest Tremor with enhanced off-road capabilities
Regarding the Everest Tremor model, the statement indicated that it is geared towards adventure enthusiasts and off-road driving. The design incorporates enhancements that support performance on rough terrain. Key features include 17-inch all-terrain tires and a Bilstein suspension system. These components enhance stability and control when used in harsh environments.
The statement added that the Tremor joins Ford’s growing lineup of adventure vehicles in the Middle East. Therefore, it contributes to its suitability for everyday use both in and out of cities. Other models include the F-150 Tremor and the Expedition Tremor.
The identity of “Ready Go Ford”
The statement also noted that Ford’s participation in the Liwa Festival saw the launch of the brand’s new identity in the region. This launch was under the slogan “Ready Set Ford.” This new slogan aims to strengthen the brand’s connection to customer needs. It also solidifies Ford’s presence in the Middle East, which spans more than four decades.
The statement noted that the horsepower and torque figures referred to as “class-leading” are still awaiting final approval from the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO).
