London, United Kingdom – Prince Harry sipped tea with King Charles on Wednesday, in their first meeting in 20 months.

This may be a first step towards ending the public dispute between father and son.

Harry, Duke of Sussex, last met his father in February 2024.

This came shortly after it was announced that the king was undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles (76 years old) had tea at Clarence House Palace in London with his son on Wednesday.

Harry (40 years old) traveled directly to one of the Invictus Games events in London after the meeting.

When a journalist asked him about his father, Harry replied, “Yes, he’s great, thank you”.

Harry traveled to Britain on Monday for a series of engagements.

Earlier on Wednesday, he also visited a research center specializing in improving treatment for explosion victims.

Since Harry and his American wife, Meghan, moved to California in 2020, where they now live with their two children, they have been highly critical of the royal family and its institution in interviews, television documentaries, and Harry’s autobiography.
