The extent of the financial damage: The value of the money wasted as a result of these illegal prescriptions was estimated at around 12 million euros.
Fines imposed: The Authority decided to impose immediate financial fines totaling 98,500 euros on the parties involved.
Ongoing investigations and expanded prosecution: The campaign did not stop there. The organization announced that the audits are still ongoing and have expanded to include:
