Abu Dhabi, UAE – Emirati desalination plants in Rafah, Egypt, continue their operations as part of Operation “Al Fares Al Shahm 3,” pumping desalinated water to the Gaza Strip.
This comes within the framework of humanitarian support aimed
at meeting one of the most basic needs of the population amidst the difficult conditions in the Strip.
Operating 6 stations with a capacity of two million gallons per day
The system includes six desalination plants that produce approximately two million gallons of water daily.
In the next phase, the water is treated and pumped via a dedicated pipeline to Khan Younis
and other beneficiary areas within the Gaza Strip, thus ensuring a continuous water supply.
Emirati-Egyptian supervision to ensure continued operation
The stations are operated by an Emirati engineering team within the aid mission in El Arish, with support from an Egyptian team.
Operations are monitored daily to ensure efficient production and a continuous flow of water to beneficiaries in Gaza.
“The Noble Knight 3” continues its projects in Gaza
These stations are part of a series of humanitarian, relief, and medical projects implemented by the UAE to support the Gaza Strip.
These projects include aid convoys, field hospitals, and floating hospitals,
all part of ongoing efforts to support the population during times of crisis.
