The organizing committee announced the schedule of the tournament matches, with the UAE national team starting its matches against Qatar on May 16. As part of the preparations, the Emirates Volleyball Federation announced the national team preparation program. Which currently includes an open gathering at Al Wasl Club that will continue until May 1. With the participation of 17 players under the leadership of the technical staff led by coach Ziad Larqash. It will be followed by a closed internal camp that will include two friendly matches before traveling to Doha, with the final list reduced to 12 players.
Strengthening the Gulf presence
Awad Al Mansouri, Assistant Secretary General of the Emirates Volleyball Federation, confirmed that participation in the tournament comes within efforts to enhance the Gulf presence and consolidate the spirit of competition.
