Abu Dhabi, UAE – The National Center of Meteorology confirmed that the UAE is witnessing the passage of the latest wave of rain on Thursday night and Friday morning.
The center explained that the latest wave begins during Thursday night and Friday dawn in the western regions and gradually extends to the coastal areas.
To include the Al Dhafra region and Abu Dhabi, all the way to the northern and eastern interior regions.

The wave is characterized by heavy rainfall with lightning and thunder, active winds, and small amounts of clouds during the night.

The center indicated that during Thursday, the impact of the low pressure system on the UAE decreased relatively.
While the chances of light to moderate rainfall remain, they are concentrated on the islands and some northern regions at intervals.

As the depression deepens in the atmosphere, this wave begins on Thursday evening in the western regions, and gradually moves towards the Al Dhafra and Abu Dhabi regions during the late night and dawn hours on Friday.
This was before extending on Friday to the northern regions, the city of Al Ain, and the eastern regions.
It is accompanied by heavy rain, lightning and thunder, and hail falling on limited areas of the country, with cloud quantities gradually decreasing during the night.
On Saturday, cloud cover for the UAE will decrease, with active to sometimes strong northwesterly winds prevailing, especially over the sea, accompanied by a drop in temperatures.
