Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE strongly condemned the terrorist attack launched by Iran against the Kingdom of Bahrain, which resulted in the martyrdom of an Emirati contractor of Moroccan nationality
and the injury of five members of the UAE Ministry of Defense and a number of Bahraini soldiers,
stressing that the attack represents a flagrant violation of international law and a threat to regional security.
UAE solidarity with Bahrain
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s full support for Bahrain
and its commitment to protecting Bahrain’s security and stability.
It noted that the attack constitutes a dangerous escalation that threatens the security
of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and reflects the risks of continued hostilities in the region.
UAE offers condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims
The UAE offered its sincere condolences to the family of the martyr
and to the Kingdom of Morocco, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Ministry affirmed Abu Dhabi’s commitment to monitoring developments
and working to protect its citizens, residents, and visitors from any threats.
Risks to regional security and stability
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the treacherous Iranian attack threatens regional stability
and negatively impacts security, energy, and navigation in the region.
It called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in confronting these violations
and to pressure the perpetrators to halt these attacks, which undermine peace and security.
This attack is part of a series of ongoing missile attacks targeting the UAE and other brotherly nations in the region,
reflecting a dangerous escalation that requires concerted international action to ensure regional security and peace.
